As I have mentioned before, my honey Jack decided to have the carpeting in the master bedroom and living room taken up and replaced with tile while I am in the hospital. This is being done in an effort to help decrease my risk of infection when I get home with things that may potentially be trapped in the carpeting, especially pet hair, etc. My resistance to infection will be quite low for some months to come, so we will have to take special precautions. Anyway, our wonderful friend Bob Thompson, who is amazing, is doing the work. (I call him Bob the builder. He is the same man who built our beautiful new fence.) He sent me a few pictures of the beginning of the project so I can get an idea of what its looking like. We decided to go with a wood-look tile in the bedroom and living room and tile in the master closet that matched what is already in the master bathroom. This is just a sneak preview, but Im so excited that I wanted to share!
