As Ive explained to a few of you, when I was really young in deep red Alabama, I knew there were two things that my daddy taught me were good: Jesus and Alabama. Matching those were two bad things, the devil and Auburn. All the stuff about Jesus and the devil came from the Bible, and I naturally inferred that so was the stuff about Alabama and Auburn. So until I learned to read, I believed that the Bible said Alabama was on the side of Jesus and Auburn was on the side of the devil, and that it was a very bad sin to be an Auburn fan. I also associated the color orange with being very bad and going to hell, and I kind of still do psychologically. My dad never quite disabused me of any of this; I had to learn to read to determine for sure that the Bible didnt say anything about football. tl;dr: Happy Iron Bowl Auburn, and go to hell.
