As the sister of a fallen soldier, my step brother Major Sid Brookshire was killed in Iraq in June 2007 and also the daughter of a Vietnam veteran, I have become involved in doing all that I can to help veterans. This year I am organizing and sponsoring, with the help of many friends and local businesses in and around the Southington area, a charity fashion show and concert that will benefit Fisher House. Tickets to the event are $10. Program ad prices range from $10 to $200.. ALL proceeds from the AD book benefit Fisher House.
