Assalaamu Alaikum sisters, The Hijab refers to both the head-covering traditionally worn by Muslim women and modest Islamic styles of dress in general. It is said in the Holy Quran that Muslim women should cover themselves to guard their modesty. Let’s honor the World Hijab Day Saturday Feb 1st, with friends and family of any religious background. There will be a tutorial session - different styles of wearing Hijab, swap Hijabs, own a Hijabs if you never had one and much more. We need some generous brothers or sisters to donate towards the cost to purchase Hijabs. I Lucky Rahman, initiated to have a free Hijab day so I am the 1st one to donate towards the cost. If anyone wants to donate Hijabs please feel free to do so. For example: We need to buy 50-100 Hijabs, depending on how many sisters will attend. Please bring a dish of your choice (your favorite, most delicious food) to share with others. Respond quickly only 5 days away.
