Assignment & Equities Team Leader, Chinese Language News, Shanghai Job (Shanghai, CHN): Job Requisition Number:43061 The Role Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced editor to join its Chinese-language news service. The role can be based in Beijing or Shanghai. The individual in this role will lead a group of reporters, editors and headliners responsible for monitoring and delivering breaking news affecting global financial markets to a Chinese audience. The team will also be responsible for Bloombergs Chinese-language coverage of equity markets and corporate news. Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of Chinas financial markets and economy, exceptional news judgment and the ability to excel under deadline pressure. They should be able to generate and shape story ideas, coach and mentor reporters, editors and translators, as well as collaborate with fellow managers across the organization.
