Australias National Mental Health Commission has released the 2013 National Report Card. We are Australia’s first National Mental Health Commission, set up in 2012 to provide independent reports and advice to the community and government on what’s working and what’s not. From day one, the Commission’s view has been that we must think differently about mental health, to see mental wellbeing as important to the individual, their family, support people and community. This sees services not as separate elements to be used when needed.
