***Average Safer*** Simba was surrendered after 5 years because she is to big?? Please help find Simba a new home. A volunteer writes: "Gorgeous Simba is with us as his long time owner deemed him too big for his living quarters. Simba comes with excellent recommendations, though. He would be friendly with other dogs, strangers and children, knows many commands and was trusted to be loose in the house, in the absence of his master. Simba is tall, long legged, healthy looking and a beautiful mix between a Labrador and a Pitie. His fomer owner says that Simba has a Boxer up his ancestry. His coat is very well groomed. His eyes intense.Simba is stressed . He just arrived at the Manhattan Care Center. He comes to my chest, clearly seeking comfort and even kisses my face. He pulls a bit on the leash and eliminates on the way, marking his territory. His tail is high and arched. He is trying to tough it up but I think that he is really a sweetheart. We meet other dogs on the way. Simba is cool with them. In the yard, Simba comes as I call him. He sat by my feet as I ask and lets himself being petted all over. From time to time, I get a little lick on my hand... Simba is a beautiful dog who was very well cared for. He is friendly, quite well mannered and would make an awesome companion, given a chance.
