BAEL PAKA TOH KAWWE KE BAAP KA KYA…………. (The title of this post is not related to the main theme or the video. To know the relevance, read the later part of the post) I was born on the 28th of December 1948, eleven months after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi and hence they believe that I am “Punar Janam” of Bapu, who has been living a normal life till he saw situation in the country becoming unbearable on many fronts. Please click the link below & enjoy (it is a 12 minutes part of one hour episode). youtube/watch?v=f1KruPGkOn0 Having seen most of the mega cities across the globe, I can say with conviction that Delhi is the best place on earth to live, notwithstanding huge population, chaotic traffic, power cuts, sizzling summers, freezing winters etc. All these adversities are negated by one single factor and that is the “Sense of belonging”. I am proud of the fact that I am also a hard core nationalist like Bapu; and have never been enamored by the glamour of the so called developed world. Singapore, Tokyo, London, Paris, New York, Dubai are infrastructure wise better than Delhi, but they are not mine. “Bael paka toh kawwe ke baap ka kya” (Even if the fruit Bael is ripe, it is meaningless for the crow). This year temperature soared to over 47 degrees accompanied by infamous Gaya type hot wind, called loo, which did not spare even the die-hard Aashiq of Delhi. I suffered a sun stroke attack 3 days back and still in recuperating stage. Hence, not in position to write a long meaningful post for FB.
