BLATANT ENVIRONMENT VIOLATION BY DELL ONE OF PIONEERS IN COMPUTER...... dell companies is selling computers with lithium ion batteries daily to tune of millions a day. they have printed a customer care number 18008228837(i am attaching photo of it )for recycling the batteries, but when i tried to contact them it is sayng number is not valid. Such act are blatant violation of guidelines for environmentally sound management of e-waste 2008 and these american companies are playing with indian environment without any sense of responsibility......these companies need to be taken to task not only under environment laws but also consumer protection laws FOR PROVIDING FALSE NUMBERS....I HAD FORWARDED COMPLAINT TO ENVIRONMENT MINISTRY, NGT AND CONSUMER COURTS ......CAN ANYONE SUGGETS OTHER MEASURES......PLEASE SHARE THIS SO THAT SOME AWARENESS IS CREATED......I AM HAVING UNUSED BATTERY LYING WITH ME TO BE DISPOSED OFF SAFELY
