BOB REPORT. Just back from vet, yet again. Some parts of his wound are better, some parts worse. He has a 2 inch pocket around his elbow, where skin is not sticking. But the open wound is looking better to the eye. This might take a long time to heal. If it does heal at all. More antibiotics and pain pills. No walks, or stairs. Damn I miss our walks. I have to watch him to be sure he doesnt lick his bandages away or they dont slip down. So Im stuck at home. I dont want to put the collar on him. I leave for LA on Friday and Beth will take over the nursing duties for Bob while I go help my mother in Hollywood, and dog sit 2 dogs for my brother where I stay in LA. Im being called to be a care giver these weeks. It suits me for the moment, but I sure do hope this phase will pass. So much else I want to do! Today I begin a writing project Im excited about. Such is life. And YOU?
