BREAKFAST WITH GOD ( March 14, 2014 / 8:00 A.M ) Just in time. Back to His breakfast table again. Today the Lord guided me to this odd book and verse JUDE 1:9 BUT EVEN THE ARCHANGEL MICHAEL, WHEN HE WAS DISPUTING WITH THE DEVIL ABOUT THE BODY OF MOSES, DID NOT HIMSELF DARE TO CONDEMN HIM FOR SLANDER BUT SAID, “THE LORD REBUKE YOU.” I said it is odd because this is a rarely visited book of the Bible I should PERSONALLY say ( I don’t know if anyone can relate to me ). Not only the book OF Jude, but the verse given to me today as well . I was just like telling God, ”is there anything you have cooked for my breakfast today, ayoko po nito.” But no, I can hear Him telling me to just taste it and I will like it…. In other words EAT IT “ As my pastor told me before “ partial obedience is absolutely disobedience at all”. So I have to check my heart and explore why He is encouraging me to like it and eat it. Again, thanks to this heaven-sent Google. He led me into the scene where God, through his angel secretly buried Moses in Moab after seeing the Promised Land. ( Deuteronomy 34:5-6 ). I made a play About Moses, The Prince of Egypt few years ago and I did not encounter this part where Satan was disputing over Moses’ body. To rebuke him I just found myself laughing. I work for PAYPAL online Payment Processing Service handling Disputes and Claims for worldwide accounts, and it is really a headache dealing people with disputes especially if they are the losing party. I laughed over this dispute scene between Michael and Satan ……. But its where God pointed me to what He wants me to see this morning and it blew me off. I pictured an angel confronting the devil. I can imagine Satan claiming Moses’ body that it belongs to Him for he sinned by doubting God’s power to produce water out of a rock and telling Michael “ What’s there to keep? You did not allow him to enter the Promised Land anyway for he sinned, so he belongs to me! Hahahaha ( in a devilish laughter)” Satan the accuser strikes again accusing the man of God even unto death. But Michael dared not to say anything to retaliate the slanderous devil . Instead, he rebuke him in the power of the Lord without becoming an accuser. BOOOMM!!!! ______________________________SPEECHLESS FOR A MOMENT……………........................................................................ I could hear God telling me “ So Benj, how does it taste?” How can I say anything bad to the person who has given me so many chances and has made so many great things for me………… So I say “IT TASTE GOOD O LORD…. IT TASTED GOOD……”. Then moving on with what I was reading at from a commentary…. It was as if I can hear him sa “ ok son, this is for your dessert.” ..........“You will see that Michael did not dare to make blasphemous judgment against the accuser. It was a judgment birthed out of a zeal for righteousness and not out of a personal resentment or dislike Blasphemy has the connotation of someone throwing accusations that are essentially motivated by a desire to injure another persons reputation. What God abhors is when you make judgments against a person where your motivation is to injure the other persons reputation, instead of your motivation being a fervent desire to see Gods justice manifested.”......... Tapos ang breakfast. “Thank you Lord for that spicy-sweet reminder and see you in everything that I will be doing today.” In JESUS EVER-FULFILLING NAME I offer my heart……… amen!
