Been for a great walk this morning. Taken an hour and a half and now me, myself and my yellow lab are very tired but also refreshed. Being a sufferer myself of anxiety I know my own signs of when I need to alter my thinking patterns, behaviours and actions. I woke up this morning not in the greatest of moods. I then went through my usual routine of shower and meditation. Although that cleared my mood to a degree I could sense some small frustrations lingering. So to break the cycle I decided to go for a walk. I let my mind chatter run its course and say what it had to say and then it quietened down, i was then left to absorb everything around me and enjoy just being out on a nice morning by the river. An hour and half later I feel refreshed and totally calm. I have walked myself out of becoming anxious. I feel blessed to know the knowledge I know really in-depth about myself, anxiety and panic to be able to sense the smallest of triggers to allow me to lead a calm and stress free life.
