Bhubaneswar is saturated with many central university like IIT,AIIMS,NISER & NIFT.Inorder to strike a right balance,IIM should be situated in Mayurbhanj district no doubt this would prove to be an ideal destination for such great institute.As we know Mayurbhanj is the largest district of odisha with tribal dominance such a institute would help the region not only educational but also socially & economically. In past many genuine demands of Mayurbhanj has been overlooked by central & state govt due to lack of political will of our elected representatives for which such a rich district is suffering.Here is an Amarda/Rajaloka airstrip of British era,which can be developed & used for this very purpose.If the IIM is located here it will benefit the scholars as we are a bodering district many visiting faculties from IIM(kol) can came over here to take classes initially as kolkata is just 240km from here,above all well connected by rail & road. so,we demand IIM in our district.
