Bi-Lingual Celebration Service: Sunday, Feb. 8 at 10:45am. A group of Spanish-speaking individuals led by Pastor Ricardo Munoz is starting a new church and we are looking at supporting them in this awesome venture. It may be one of the only (if only) bi-lingual/Spanish-English churches in the Bay County area. Just to give you a heads up about what it will be like. Both PC 1st Nazarene and the Spanish-speaking group will meet together for worship. Half the songs we sing will be in English and interpreted for the Spanish. And half will be Spanish and interpreted for the English. I will preach the message with a Spanish interpreter. Afterwards, we will bring our lunch and eat it together in the fellowship hall. How cool is that! Open Mic Nite: Sun., Oct. 25 at 6:30pm. See Tracy Roberts to be a “stage” participant. Please pray for Pastor Scott Roberts at Church Planter’s Essentials training this week. God is developing a vision for us to plant churches in the Bay County area. To get ready, we prepare ourselves through training, praying, and learning to trust God for the work He is going to do through us. Our concept picture for the new parking lot has been completed! Now, the designer will need to draw the plans. The pastor and Lonnie Linton, the property chairman, will meet with another designer/engineer tomorrow to work with a concept picture and plans for the covered drive-thru. Also, we are beginning much-needed renovations on our ladies’ and men’s restrooms. The process seems slow (and it is for me), but please patiently pray for us over these next few months. Annual Church Meeting and Elections is coming up on February, 22. We will hold a luncheon after the morning service and have the meeting then. Be in prayer for those who will take on leadership roles for the church for 2015-16.
