Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, a good sister of mine is working on this amazing project!! Please help her out even if it is only $5. Read the whole letter and you will see how amazing this project is mashaAllaah. I come across a lot of sisters who struggle to make ends meet, whether they are single, divorced, single mums, co-wives, or married yet dont get any support from their husbands! As a result of this we have decided to dedicate our floor (above ETS) to Sisters! We aim to provide opportunities for sisters to educate themselves and become self-sufficient all in a halal way and in accordance with the Quraan and Sunnah in shaa Allaah. We plan on doing this in a number of ways, but first and foremost we will be setting up an IOU centre (islamiconlineuniversity)... For a small fee sisters can get away from all distractions at home and come and study and obtain one of the 4 degrees offered by IOU. In addition we will have: - Back to Basics class - Youth Club - Tajweed classes with Qari Uthmans wife (Coach Umbreen) - life coaching - Arabic - make up and hair courses We also have a Muslimah hairdresser trained at Toni & Guy specialising in dying hair ready to be booked at the Salon! And much much more bi ithnillaah! We need regular standing orders as well as money for computers for IOU... Just imagine the sadaqah jariyah when you empower a sister and she then goes on to empower another and another and so on! Imagine the reward of girls who cant go to university getting an education because you supported the centre or contributed towards purchasing the computers! Imagine the reward of saving these girls from having to study in mixed environments! Imagine the reward for saving these girls from RIBA based student loans! Imagine the reward for saving these women from compromising their faith to earn some money! Just IMAGINE! All this will start after Ramadhaan in shaa Allaah...though the work needs to start now! Ramadhaan is just under two months away... Will we live to see it though? Only Allaah knows! Nows the time to start preparing for Ramadhaan and taking action so Allaah allows us to reach Ramadhaan and do good in Ramadhaan too! Each computer will cost us around £120: so who is going to start off and get the reward for all those who follow suit? Who is going to be the Umar and Abu Bakr and compete for the pleasure of Allaah? Who wants jannah?!! Please let me know ASAP if you can help, even if it is a standing order of £1 a month it will go a long way in shaa Allaah!
