Boko Haram: The Questions On The Lips Of Many Nigerians! -------------------------------------- My question is, with the presence of our combat-ready millitary personnel on ground as we all do witness before getting into Mubi town, how did the insurgents manage to get in undetected? It is unfortunate that our intelligence dont usually have the premonition of such attacks before they occur! Now, it is being reported that the gun-men have attacked the Police Station, Prison and in-mates were reportedly freed! The Military presence in Mubi have said to have disappeared as soldiers have been seen running helter skelter. Otherwise one would have wondered how the gun-men managed to burnt down the Armed Barracks. I have put a call to my sister and they were caught in the cross-fire and some are on top of the hills as well as in the bushes, while some are already on their way to the border, crossing over to the Republic of Cameroon just as Maiha road and the road leading to Yola were blocked. The earlier reports in some quarters that our Military are on top of the situation is obviously being aired to cool nerves, people! We are no longer safe, wherever we are and it is evident that the Military can no longer defend the territorial intergriety of Nigeria. The questions on the lips of many Nigerians are, who are these people? Where are they from and what is their aim? I dont want believe that the government of President Jonathan and our security forces have no answers to the above questions. How many people share my opinion?
