Born on this day Maurice Ernest Gibb, CBE (mɔrɪs/ (22 December 1949 – 12 January 2003 R.I.P.) was a musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who achieved international fame as guitarist, bassist and keyboardist. Also Rob Hugh Gibb, CBE (22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012 R.I.P.) was a singer, songwriter and record producer. The Bee Gees were a pop music group that was formed in 1958.
