Butler Medal Bonanza In Bermuda Jul 15, 2013 Geoffrey and Lara Butler hit the medal trail during the first finals session at the Island Games in Bermuda. Geoffrey, with his metronomic rhythm and power, paced his way to silver in the 1500m freestyle with a 20 second lifetime best and a new CIASA record of 15:46.87. Lara then took over the reins to crush the opposition in the 400m IM with a gold medal winning performance of 4:56.29 and yet another CIASA record. Less than 10mins later she took to the blocks for the 100m butterfly to clinch bronze in a new CIASA record of 1:02.30. What a start to the meet! Cayman Swimming Is Moving On!
