Buyer Beware: This person is a member of your group. On July 21, 2014, my wife, April Wright paid Andrea Tweedell from Duncan, OK, $107.25 for 2 custom dresses, 1 custom bow, 1 towel, and 1 custom shirt. On several occasions, my wife was going to meet with her to pick up our items, but she always had an excuse to cancel. In mid-August, she started claiming that she had already shipped our items, however, she would never provide a tracking number (which we paid her extra for). After about two weeks of waiting and trying to get a tracking number, he responses started turning into things like “Im pretty sure I shipped everything” and “Ill have to see if I can find a tracking number.” On September 11, almost 2 months after paying for these items, I reached out to Andrea asking for a tracking number or a refund and even going as far as threatening to contact a lawyer. She then started claiming that she received the merchandise back, with RETURN written on the box, and is trying to accuse us of scamming her. Giving her $100 and refusing our own merchandise. Id say we were the worst scam artists ever. She still will not provide a tracking number to even verify that it was sent. Now, she has cut off contact with us, are we are out $100+ and have nothing to show for it. She is even going as far as threatening to have us removed from any event she is working at if me, my wife, or anyone related to us show up. Of course, it would cost more than $100 between time and money to pursue any type of legal action, so as a buyer we are not left with many options. One option I do have though, is to make sure I can warn as many people as possible to be careful if you do business with her, and if you buy anything from anyone and pay through PayPal, make sure to have you merchandise within 45 days or open a case with PayPal to protect yourself.
