CHIEFTAIN DAILY ANNOUNCEMENT (WEDNESDAY 4.9.14) Attention all 7th graders: Our Peer Counseling Class is looking for students that enjoy serving our community and our school. We are involved in the Thanksgiving canned food drive, tutoring at our area elementary schools, and choosing the Most Inspirational Teacher essay winner each year. We need leaders to help make Clark the best Jr High around. Please pick up an application for Peer Counseling from the 8th grade office or in rm B-7. Any questions please see Mrs. Brown. Attention 7th Grade Students: Are you interested in Leadership -School Service as an elective for next year? Do you like to create, design and implement ideas for rallies, dances and student activities? Would you like to participate in community and school service activities? If so, please pick up an application in the 8th Grade Office. All Leadership/School Service applications must be completed and turned in no later than Friday, April 11 to the 8th Grade Office. Any questions please see Ms. Sansom. It’s National Library Month! To celebrate, we are forgiving overdue fines for books you have returned late. Come to the library between April 8th and April 25th and say the magic words, “Happy Library Month” and your fines will be removed! Dance tickets are on sale at lunch every day by the cafeteria. The dance is tonight from 6 to 8 PM in the gym. Students, just a reminder that if you are sick and feel the need to call home you need to go to the nurse’s office to call. Please do not call from your phones, your friend’s phones or from the bathroom. Please see the nurse and she will call home for you! Campus Life is having a guest speaker today at lunch in room A-5, Mr. Stott’s classroom. Come and enjoy an Easter message and food from our guest speaker. If you plan on playing Badminton please come by the main office to check on your physical. No physical, no participation, no exceptions! All GATE students your letters of intent for our upcoming field trip are due to Mrs. Dumas in B-4 by Wednesday, April 9th.
