CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM THE STP MOB. We would first of all like to thank all the bands who have been a part of our releases and shows in 2014 around the Uk and beyond, we have been one of the busiest independent labels in the Uk with 14 releases in 2014 and without the bands these would not happen. Likewise we would like to extend our thanks to the bands who have played a part in a successful year of shows here in Manchester and beyond and again, without those bands we wouldnt have shows to bring you. As a follow on from that we would like to thank the Star and Garter and its fantastic staff for their continued support in allowing us to host shows, likewise all the other venues we have visited this year,its been a blast and we get to do it one more time in 2015. Also a thank you to the following co-promoters for some fantastic shows, your co-operation and friendship means a lot to us so Thank you JCE, AWE and Fungalpunk. Thank you to Rockers England for being our friends, for being an outlet for STP releases and finally for selling tickets to our shows, we truly appreciate what you do. THANK YOU To the people who really keep STP on the straight and narrow....YOU, the paying public who continue to buy our releases, continue to buy tickets to our shows and come out to see us around the Uk and beyond, we hope we can keep you entertained in 2015 and we will be bringing you some more fine music next year as well as our last Manchester shows and some around the Uk as usual....and to follow this thank you...the latest news from STP Records HQ is this.......UNCLE STU HAS HANDED IN HIS NOTICE AT WORK AND WILL BE WORKING FROM STP HQ IN 2015....meaning more time to augment the already high work rate in promoting bands and shows. We will be hoping we can attract as many new people to buy from us as possible next year to add to our regular friends as we will rely even more on you our friends and customers to keep the wheels turning and Uncle Stu out of idleness. DIRT BOX DISCO - the bands continued success is the second part of Uncle Stus reason for leaving work.....if you believe in something, then its only natural to want to see all the hard work progress and this is a huge gamble on my part to back up the bands work 100% so again, we hope we can attract new fans for the band as well as expanding on the already growing list of venues and promoters and we hope we can rely on your support at shows and in spreading the word. Its been a year of highs for the band with sell out shows, supports to established names on the circuit and a high profile advert with the bands music being used and we thank all the venues/promoters and people involved....more of the same in 2015 please Santa. Finally before we head off into Sherwood Forest for a New Year break, can we extend Seasons Greetings to all our friends and family at home and around the world. Its a growing family thanks to bands visiting us and vice versa and we are truly humbled to have so many fantastic people we know around the world and call family. For those family members and friends no longer with us, you will always be in our thoughts and this year has had its share of sorrow in between the highs. 2 events especially hit home this year, Elise of Hellkat Jewellery in L.A left us this year and was a very close friend and this news hit hard. I was also hit hard by a phone call from Lars telling me of Colin from Runnin Riots passing on the day they were all due in Manchester after chatting just the week before in Blackpool, that decision to cancel that show and still go to the Star and Garter to see folks turning up was one of the hardest Ive made but Im so glad I did and we still thank you for your support for that difficult day. So, well let you get back to your Xmas Television after reading this and we look forward to 2015 and hope to see as many of you as possible next year.
