CLONAKILTY MAYORAL ELECTION ON SATURDAY 24th MAY at Scoil na mBuachaillí between the hours of 9am and 7pm. Nominations must be on official nomination form and be handed into a member of Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage between 5.30 and 8.30pm on Wednesday evening May 7th at O Donovans Hotel. People may nominate themselves or be nominated by another person, but only in a personal capacity i.e. the only information about a nominated candidate must be his/her name and address, and candidates contesting the Clonakity Mayoral Council Election do so in a personal capacity, not as a representative of any political party or organisation - be it professional or voluntary/community.
