CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER (Indianapolis Area) The Site Manager is responsible for constructing sites on-time, on-budget and to customer’s specifications. The ability to build and manage project teams; monitor and report on progress to the customer and internal management; and ensure quality control throughout the project are essential to this position. Responsibilities -Manage project’s quality, budget and timeline from initiation to closure. -Involvement with determination if external contractors will be required to complete project. -Physically assist in construction activities as availability and timelines dictate. -Track and participate in reporting project milestones and status reports to client. -Monitor project for changes in requirements and process Change Orders through to invoicing. -Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations and client requirements. Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis. -Over time begin to participate in developing detailed scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing. Preferred Knowledge and Experience -Building and Construction -- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of commercial or industrial structures -Design -- Knowledge of technical plans, blueprints, specifications and drawings. -Safety and Security -- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. -Project Management -- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, leadership techniques, production methods, coordination of people and resources, variance analysis and resource allocation.
