Can someone tell me the importance of having a job, compared to hustling/owning a business... After going through a whole year and a half of job hunting for something that actually aligns with my degree and experience... Im pretty jaded. Im not sure what the big deal of getting hired is. You go through all this nonsense to get paid a salary, with hopes to work your way up...... To where? Where are we all going? To the top? Investor status? How did the investors get to the very top? Maybe we should be doing that instead. Doh. I still like my current job though. But in the mean time hoping that these side projects get me to the top faster than 30+ years of full benefits, 401k, and job security.... Which is a strange term to me, because I have had a good amount of jobs where I did not feel secure working for them. At all.
