Can this be right. Councillor submits a motion to Full Council on right to buy. Big yawn from the Full Council, for God sake we already been here over an hour, so in the interest of keeping the cheese and cucumber sandwiches fresh in the mayors parlour they decide to pass the motion to the Executive. On arrival at the Executive the motion receives yet another Yawn this time though due to the political game play the Executive decides to allow the scrutiny board to have a look first, so the motion is passed down the chain of command to the Scrutiny Board so they can make comment before returning to the Executive who will consider the scrutiny boards comments. On arrival at the Executive they will pass judgement and a make decision, have it recorded in the minutes which can be read at the Next Full Council. The crucial factor is this Motion will NEVER be debated at Full Council. It would seem our council are not even able or willing to debate a motion put forward by a councillor who so happens to have deep concerns about a housing issue but unfortunately is not a Conservative. What a shocking state of affairs.
