Change a Life through Change-Quarter Challenge All loose coins (please place bills and checks in a marked white pew envelope) goes towards a mission project here in Siouxland. January’s Change to make Change will go to the Quarter Challenge. The challenge used to be against Trinity Lutheran Church, however, Trinity has chosen to change their ministry focus and no longer participate in the challenge BUT that does not mean the challenge ends. We are going to challenge ... ourselves!!! Last year, we did this by raising more money than the previous year and Pastor Roger got a pie in his face. This year, back by popular demand, if we beat last year’s total of $1,470.06, Pastor Roger will once again get a pie in the face. Now, this also means we need two people to each bake a pie to put in Pastor Roger’s face. His choice of pie this year is chocolate. Of course, all the money raised will go to support two very important ministries which help fight hunger here in Sioux City (The Soup Kitchen and Interfaith Resources)
