Check up at the hospital today - Litias red blood count has dropped to 85. Thankfully she isnt needing a blood transfusion :) She is still neutropenic (low level of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell which helps the body to fight infection). She also has some mouth ulcers and is still finding it a bit painful to eat and swallow. The Dr is confident that we can manage it at home until her admission on Monday for more chemo, but if her temperature spikes or if she stops eating or drinking shell need to go to hospital. Litia is happy and comfortable and still her usual smiling bubbly self which is so very amazing considering everything that is being thrown at her - she is my inspiration!!
