Cheryll Wilbur is a business within a business at Artistry Salon and Spa suites. She is a Master Stylist, Licensed Cosmetologist, and Instructor for the state of Iowa. She specializes in complete makeovers. She does not just cut the hair, she sculpts the hair into a style that is easy to maintain at home. With her artistic styles and color placement, you will feel like a new you. Cheryll is originally from the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. She knew as a small child that she wanted to make a difference in others’ lives by making them feel beautiful. She has done exactly that and more. After graduating at the top of her class, she began her Beauty Career as an assistant for a Color Educator. This began her love and passion for education. She also became a Color Educator but could not stop there. She later joined the Artistic Team for Thermafuse, a professional hair product line. She took the United States by storm by performing her technical skills and talents on the big stage in front of thousands of people at International Hair shows. Moving up the corporate ladder to Regional Education Manager, she got the opportunity to touch lives in a more personal way by visiting hair salons coast to coast and offering business education and technical training to help others. She consulted Salons and worked with the distributors. Meanwhile recruiting and training educator’s nationwide. Through her experience as a salon owner and educator, she became a business and marketing specialist. She now has various ways to inspire people into a more professional and passionate career no matter what. As a keynote speaker, she encourages people to Be different by making a difference. Her keynote is a funny, interactive speech that will change your perspective of life. She uses her life to encourage others. She received a Jefferson Award for Public Service as well as Volunteer of the Year in North Myrtle Beach. She truly believes in her community and is looking forward to being a part of Burlington and the surrounding areas. Since moving to the Midwest, she has continued to consult businesses and their employees. Having missed being in the salon, Cheryll has decided to get back behind the chair. She looks forward to what she calls Operation Makeover the Midwest and encourages everyone to join her for a life changing experience.
