Chief Government pathologist, Dr Johansen Oduor, has finally released an autopsy report that showed what killed Homa Bay Senator, Gerald Otieno Kajwang, on Tuesday at The Mater Hospital, Nairobi. According to Oduor, a post mortem exam showed that the veracious Senator had a coronary artery. disease which led to his death. Oduor also said that the Senator had some broken ribs, a fracture on the sternum and a dislocation of one rib. These, the doctor said are as a result of the accident he was involved in Oyugis a week ago when attending a forum organized by former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga. Oduor also said there was massive erosion of his stomach as well as external injuries that are visible even to the naked eye. He concluded by saying that Otieno Kajwang died of a heart attack. The autopsy report has now calmed speculations by CORD leaders and supporters who were shouting that Kajwang was poisoned by the Jubilee Government’s operatives. Meanwhile, Kajwang’s burial date has been fixed on Friday November 28, 2014. President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to attend the burial at Awoundo village, Mbita Constituency.
