(Cinet)- Recently, a scientific seminar themed “Building culture as an internal strength for development in the new period” has taken place in Da Nang city. The seminar summarizes some issues of theory and reality for cultural development orientation – an internal strength to develop the country in an international integration. The seminar focused on some issues as follows: internal and external relationship for strength to develop the nation; culture and some values; culture in the areas with diversity; diversity and unity- cultural strength of Vietnamese people; cultural maintenance and development in Hue city, ect. Some discussions and researches are approaches to access and development culture; give some achievements and limits to find more way to solve issues. The seminar aims to catch up with cultural demand in a condition of market economy and international integration as well as give task and measure to develop culture in the new period.
