Comments from an editor on a short fiction piece. From a journal Im dying to get into. **The prose is breathtaking, haunting, but I cant tell if the narrator is a serial killer of young girls, or what. Perhaps another reader can figure it out and shed light. I do admire ambiguity, but in this case, when it passes into obscurity, it affects my overall appreciation of the work. - Spoon feeding readers VS. leaving them to decide on the intentions is extremely difficult for me. I hate reading stories where I am told what to think. Maybe not everyone feels the same. Maybe the line is too thin for me to understand. At any rate, Ive pretty much begged them to let me resubmit. #AssInHand #HeartOnSleeve
