Congregation of Decay; Standing Room Only – Bill-the-Sybarite ignored Congress and Bombed Kosovo, George-the-Junior went before Congress (only after he knew it was a sure thing) for approval on Iraq, President Obama went into Libya without Congressional Approval and yet now Mr. Obama has decided to seek the approval that he clearly has demonstrated as being beneath him. It seems as if we are witnessing something truly unusual; a congregation of political decay in which there is standing room only. A Nation (U.S.) with serious economic problems suffocating under the weight of a deplorable state of political dysfunction somehow believing that a Military Action in response to a vague event of convenience with no definable objective supported only by Israel, France and the Arab League will affirm our righteous standing among the ponderously self-serving. The entire affair is a festering hive of cross-purposes so unbelievably malignant that it defies reason; or does it? The machinery of conquest is merely in a pause mode looking for just the right spark of indignation; just the right calamity that even a sane man will willingly act in an insane manner on the off-chance that someone might question his justification.
