DATELINE: BUDDING OF THE FIG TREE.... ISRAEL 1948.......The account of the budding fig tree, refering to Israels re birth. 1948. I was only 5 years old, the very same year, The Lord Called this young lad to preach. Mother and I were singing at a Revival, at Left Fork Baptist Church, that night as I was Shouting up and down the Isle behind my Great Uncle, better know as Shoutin Uncle Joe Whitten .. But even to this day, I remember that Historical event! when President Truman, pushed for Gods People land be established, to be called Israel... President Truman and other of his staff were making suggestions as to the new name. Clark Clifford was under advisor to The President. He felt the new nation should be called Israel. President Truman, was reading Cliffords letter and summonsed Clifford to the Oval Office. To his surprise President Truman was reading his letter and ask Clifford why did you thing this new nation should be called Israel? Cliffords reply, Because ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! .... With this event, President Truman or Clark Clifford, had no Idea what this event held.The beginning of a Biblical Prophesy! But knew it was the right thing to do!...Scripture goes on to say, This Generation Shall NOT Pass Away, without seeing the coming of Our Lord. THE BUDDING FIG TREE ISRAEL 1943 PROPHESY THE BEGINNING OF THE END.... Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: (1948 Israel became a State) 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Note: There are Two thoughts concerning a generation. 1 being 100 years and the other the bible states a generation or mans life span being 3 score and 10 years being 70 years. So, as we can readily see, With what we read in the total chapter of Matthew 24, things are quickly winding down, towards a catastrophic event, but to the beliver, its a joyfull occasion, to be with The Lord, even scientist are predicting we are headed for a huge cosmic event. Then if 100 years that would put The Lords coming somewhere around 2048. If a generation is 70 years, then this would put The Lords Coming around 2018. But either way my friends, I am 70 and this generation of 1948 is looming ever close. We need to be ready, when it happens.. Be ready Jesus Is Coming Soon!.. I believe with all my heart.) 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
