DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC APPLAUDS OKOWA Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi- Uku, have commended the Senator representing Delta North in the National Assembly, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for influencing the supply of over a hundred laptops to the institution. In a thank you message issued by the institution which was signed by the Rector, Dr. (Mrs.) Edna Nneka Mogekwu, she described the gesture as most welcomed, and noted that the school was very happy and appreciative of the gesture of Senator Okowa in attracting that number of laptops which she said the institution was in dire need of before now. Part of the statement reads, “our dear Senator, your caring heart, drive for educational excellence and leadership prowess has fetched us one hundred and ten (110) Zinox Laptops model from Nigeria Communication Commission”. Dr. Mogekwu described Senator Okowa as a man with deep passion for the growth and development of the society, even as she noted that he (Okowa) has continued to show exemplary leadership qualities. “Our most distinguished Senator, you have continued to prove that your election into the National Assembly is indeed a blessing to Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general,” she stated.
