DINTHAR FC CAME OUT ON TOP IN AN EMOTIONAL MATCH -Michael Lalremtluanga The atmosphere at Lammual was emotional and sensation as people gathered to pay their respect to Bethlehem Vengthlang FC midfielder Peter Biaksangzuala and also to watch the match. Dinthar FC had defeated the Samsung 3:16 Plan Solution Mizoram Premier League Season 3 leader Aizawl FC and they are determined to continue their form. Laldampuia and R. Laldanmawia scored a goal each for Dinthar FC and a last minute goal by Bethlehem Vengthlang FC Malsawmdawngliana was not enough to salvage his team from losing the match. MPL1 champions Dinthar FC won the match by 2-1 and the man of the match was I Day Football 2014 Best Player Dampuia. Dinthar FC have 10 points and are 4th on the table. Bethlehem Vengthlang FC dropped down to 6th position after their three consecutive lost and they have 6 points. This was the last match of the MPL3 Round 7 and the transfer window is officially opened. Round 8 of the MPL will be more interesting. This match had three goals and three disallowed goals. The match was exciting and entertaining. BVT had a chance right from the start with a shot from Zoremsanga. Lalrammawias freekick was almost headed into the goal by Zaithanmawia. Dinthar FC looked more promising and Dampuia was the hub of the team in attack. He was a real live wire for his team and produced a good cross for Danmawia but it was cleared off the line by BVT defender Vanlalruata. MPL1 best player Danmawia had another chance to score with only the keeper to beat but his shot went wide. Scorer of the winning goal against Aizawl FC Vanlalchhanhima Sailo was denied by the crossbar as he headed a good ball from the corner. Dampuias freekick was too hot to be handled and the keeper Liansangpuia dropped the ball and the loose ball was tucked in by Danmawia which was disallowed as the assistant referee waved his flag for offside. Dinthar FC finally got the goal they deserved in the second half. A cross ball from the left was turned into the goal by Dampuia at 50 minutes. 10 minutes after the goal BVT have scored one but it was ruled out for offside. Dinthar FC had the upper hand but BVT wanted a goal. Malsawmsangas cross found Hruaia but he failed to head the ball on the target from close range. BVT were punished for missing their chances when Danmawia scored a header at 89 minutes which turned out to be the winning goal. Dinthar FC thought the game was safe but BVT never gave up. They scored one back when Rammawias freekick was headed into the goal by Sawmdawnga a minute after Dinthar FC scored the second goal. Four minutes of injury time was given and Dinthar FC defence lost concentration. But BVT failed to punish them. 2-1 was the final score.
