DONT GIVE UP! God honors our faith. Faith is: Believing God promises, regardless of our circumstances. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 So do not throw away your confidence in The Lord ; it will be richly rewarded. Hebrews 10:35 We are not capable of conjuring up this kind of confidence, nor can we receive it by trying to be perfect all the time. So, How do we get this Confidence in The Lord, this Faith were always hearing about ? The answer can be found in Romans 10:17: So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by The Word of God If we try to conquer lifes difficulties in your own strength , were going to physically, and emotionally wear ourselves out! I know. Ive listened to countless testimonies from Christian Men and Women who for years, continued to take one step forward, and two steps back, until they wanted to quit. It was only when they became consistent readers, and doers of The Word that things began to change. Its because, they were no longer trying to do it in their strength, but were now Abiding in God. Heres the proof: Ever read John 15:7? If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. *Notice, theres a condition there. God is saying: Hell give us the desires of our hearts, but its contingent upon staying in His Word. As you drink in The Word of God, youre drinking in Spirit and Life! Gods Word ( which is life) will begin to replace worldly philosophy (which is death) , and when those negative thoughts try and come against you, The Word of God (which you are now full of) will take over, and say Thats not what the Word says, and Im not accepting it! Youll begin saying things like: I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, God is rewarding me for diligently seeking Him, and I am full of joy unspeakable! This is what Gods Word can do for us ... And, theres nothing difficult about it. You dont have to become a Bible Scholar overnight. . Just begin by reading what you feel comfortable with, and go from there. It may begin with 5 minutes a day, but youll be amazed. The Bible says Today is the day of Salavation. That means we dont have to wait forever for God to begin working in our lives. It can start today. Personally speaking, I am a completely different person than I was 6 years ago, and its by the grace of God through the reading His Word. Otherwise, I wouldnt be here on Facebook telling you about it, would I?
