Day 4 of my 5-day song challenge by Jeremy Hay, Ive chosen Pseudo Echo’s “A Beat For You”. To me, this is the best of the classic 80s synth pop sound. Simmons SDS drums and Roland Jupiter Synths and generally great music! I always liked this song, along with Listening, Destination Unknown, Love An Adventure and their cover of Funky Town is also great. Australia punches way above its weight in music with so many top pop and rock bands – at this time some favourites were AC/DC, Air Supply, Midnight Oil, INXS, Eurogliders, Real Life, Mental As Anything, Icehouse, Little River Band and some great fringe bands such as TISM.
