Day # 9 “As God Sees Me” God is saying, “Hey, my brave - TopicsExpress

Day # 9 “As God Sees Me” God is saying, “Hey, my brave and beautiful girl, how about I give you the life of your dreams? In fact, how about I give you a life you didn’t even know you were dreaming about?” That is His character. That is our God. {The Debbie Paraphrase of Isaiah 1:19 :-) } Isaiah 1:18 is not complete without verse 19. “If you are willing and obedient you will eat the best in the land”. First, He said we are as enchanting as a fresh snow and now He wants to give us He best. He rocks! The depth of His love and His character is so gracious. So adoring of us as women. He is saying to us that if we are willing to let Him work in our hearts and minds we will rise up and we will never be the same. That is what happens after you have had the best. The rest just never satisfies. Reminds me of a gluten free cupcake I just recently tasted. I have gobbled down some really yummy cupcakes over the last few years. None had ever been as moist and flavorful as my own lemon raspberry until I tasted this one. It was a chocolate mint {Thank you Mason Dixon Bakery} that tasted just like a Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie. It literally melted in my mouth. Now every cupcake I eat will be compared to the quality of that chocolate mint cupcake. It was the best. He wants to give you and I something so spectacular that there is nothing like it in this world. He is a gentleman that way. He is looking out for you. He wants you in the safety of a relationship with Him. He is more than Kevin Costner and a body guard. He is a mind and heart guard as well. He is also a gentleman who won’t force Himself on you. He is asking, “Are you willing?” He is wanting you to say yes. Saying “Yes, I am willing” is the obedience. And yes, it is really that simple. “God’s Facebook status doesn’t read “It’s complicated”. It reads “In a Relationship”.” He is making it easy for us to find healing and hope when we are willing. Are you willing to see yourself as God sees you? Are you ready to let go of what has not been working for you? Of what is not the best? Are you ready for the chocolate mint cupcake? Journal, handwrite, about your willingness to let Him show you what He sees in you. About your willingness to embrace His best. About your willingness to let go of what is holding you down. My own journal looks something like this, “God, I am willing though I am afraid. I am willing because the way I am living life needs to change. I know there is more. I know that this is not the best. I want your best. I love you Jesus.” Look in the mirror and tell that brave woman “I love you” outloud. You are worth it.
