Dear Friends: I am just reflecting on our mission trip to Guatemala and ask the Lord for guidance. The needs are great, and my thoughts go to the following needs: 1. our brother who lost his hands by electrocution. We need to find help for him. He needs prosthetics/ He is so faithful and hopeful. 2. The village of Chispan is in need of a well. Such a tremendous need.where water is a luxury. 3. We need to help complete the church at la Palmilla, 4. We need to finish the feeding Center at Pueblo Modelo. 5. The childen orphanage in Zacapa needs more staff, 6. Children who we support need more support, and the list goes on and on. It is hard to see people suffering. it is hard to leave them. I am so glad many received the Lord and their lives are changing. However, I cannot help but think of the little baby with malnutrition, the 86 year old woman who lived all alone and needed help, the family that barely had something to eat, the old man who needed a bed, the little girl at the landfill who hoped to get out of there, the children at the orphanage hoping their parents could come back to get them. Please help me and join me praying for hearts to join our cause. It is important to step forward and please stand in the gap.
