Dear Lord, I know not what the day shall bring or what storms tomorrow I shall face. Let me not waste my breath or time in sorrow for what I have not, but instead I shall be thankful for every blessing you have given me that I feel I am so unworthy of. My path maybe difficult, my pains at sometimes unbearable, but I know I shall not falter for my faith teaches me you are with me. Thank you for the sunrise and a new breath today. Let not the sunset without me helping another soul. Let my ears listen to those that weep in silence and bring them comfort in your word. Thank you for a grandchild that is not only a gift, but a reflection of the beauty you so bring to this world. I shall go forth today and strive as I do everyday to become a better man than I was the day before.
