Dear Members, Just the briefest of emails to remind you all about this coming Fridays (05th) CHRISTMAS QUIZ at the club which will double up as our CHRISTMAS EVENING - incorporating the Quiz, Play your Cards Right, food and, for those late night revellers, dancing the night away to festive classics from the likes of Queen, Slade, Band Aid (1984 version only, of course!!) and Benny Hill..............Benny Hill????!!! So, yes, the lovely Diane will be presenting a shorter Christmas Quiz (probably just 4 or 5 rounds, plus two table rounds), starting hopefully around 7:30pm, followed by the ever-popular Play Your Cards Right. A selection of Christmas nibbles and drinks will then be served (see below). We then intend to dim the lights around 10:30 or 11pm, set the turntables a spinning (courtesy of Gerald) and, for the brave, a move onto Waterfall Clubhouses famous dance floor for a spot of dancing, or (for the less talented, like myself!!) simply making a few shapes! We really do hope that as many of you as possible will attend this event and support your Club. We are asking that everybody who comes along does bring with them something to put on the table to serve up at the break. We are thinking here along the lines of crackers and cheeses (I particularly like Stilton!!),mince pies, french bread sticks, salads, saussages on sticks, mince pies, quiche etc etc. Could you please text or ring Bob or Maryla on 07854 209 223 to let them know what you will be bringing. Hopefully, by doing this, we will avoid either too many savoury items and no desserts or vice versa. So, doors will be opening shortly after 7pm with the intention of getting the quiz under way at 7:30. Hope to see you there. Waterfall Tennis Club Committee.
