Did anyone run into a biased reporter without credentials supposedly from the Huffington post writing a hit piece on shambhala? I saw her argue with at least 8 different people. She clearly had the story written and was looking for people to agree with her. She had negative things to say about the staff, about the management about the volunteers, about greed about hippocracy. She basically was trying to say that Shambhala is a community run by tyrants who promote drug use. I cringed when she opened her mouth. I found the festival to be about everything she wasnt describing. I dont mind if the people who put on Shambhala make money, I hope they are filthy rich! They deserve it for creating a safe environment with dedicated people who have love for a self built grass roots community that has expanded through hard work and dedication over the years. I probably spend more than most people to get to the festival every year from Toronto and I dont regret it for a minute. In fact when I get home I long to go back. This reporter really bugged me, she didnt get it and wasnt even trying to understand the community.
