Did you know that a tablespoon of olive oil has a whole 120 calories? How much do you use throughout the day? Breakfast eggs (2tbsp) + salad at lunch (2tbsp) + stir fry at dinner (~5tbsp) = almost 1000 extra calories per day! (3500 calories over your bodys calorie needs = 1lb weight gain) I recently invested in a crockpot, which allows cooking without ANY oil and there are soooo many delicious recipes online! I just turn it on when I leave to campus and when I come home 10 hrs later its just about finished slow cooking. Check it out! Note: many oils, in small proportions, are still good for you. Dont eliminate oil all together, just limit the amount you consume.
