Do you need help with learning how to win the interview? Here is a list of How I prepare my candidates for the Interview. Have 3 copies of your resume, dress to impress like IBM. (dark suit, white shirt, red tie, dark socks and black shoes). Review and study your resume, the job grid, and research the company. 1. First impressions are irreversible, be professional, but be comfortable. 2. Be sure you have a pen and tablet: good for Email Addresses, directions, write down names of others mentioned, technical product names, etc.. 3. Make an outline BEFORE the interview on technical points you want to cover. You will forget to mention them if you do not have a pre-written outline. 4. Speak in stories; Size of company you worked with; number of users. Number in your group. What you did within group. 5. Speak clearly! SELL YOURSELF! 6. Show some excitement; let the interviewer know that you want the position! 7. Look for ways to explain how you could be an invaluable asset to the team and the position you are interviewing for. 8. Ask, "Did I answer all your questions?" 9. Ask, "Are there any answers that you want me to expand on?" 10. Ask, "What is the next step?" 11. If they ask, " When can you start?" Have an exact date in mind.
