Doctor appt today for breast MRI (just 6 month check in) and it was tough. Got checked in on time only to wait in an ill fitting hospital gown naked from the waist up for 30 minutes because of some technical difficulties. Then it took 3 different people, each sticking me with needles, and tears to finally get a painful IV in my hand (flashbacks to childhood IV trauma). Then about 3/4 of the way through my MRI, the tech tells me the machine isnt working correctly. I have to come out of the machine, get up, wait while they replace the coil, get situated again, and start over... At least I got a nap in! All I can say is a BIG THANK YOU to the UCD staff, that through it all – even my crying and their day of mishaps – they were friendly positive, and caring.
