Does the Government of India deserve advance tax or even the tax? Going by a simple analogy where Government is an employee to a Company named India for which, we, the common Man is employer, consider the following: 1. Usually, the salary to be paid is decided by employer depending on the performance of employee, but its quite reverse over here, government decides their own salary by defining the tax slabs and enforces the Employer (i.e common Man) to pay the salary which they want, irrespective of their performance. Awful......... 2. Employee is paid the salary at the end of each month, but in case of government, it needs to be paid in advance in form of advance tax. Not only that, the employer (i.e we) are charged with interest, if employee (i.e government) is not paid the salary in advance. Awesome.... 3. At end of each year, employee is apprised of their performance. But, for government, their is no appraisal. No matter, howsoever, it performs, there will always be a tremendous pay hike.Great... 4. When the worker goes on strike, he is not paid wages for that day..But, when government body goes on strike, still it receives the wages in terms of tax, because it never stops...Wonderful. Dont you feel, its high time for us to tolerate such high-handed behaviour of Indian government....?
