E-X-P-O-S-E-D!!! STOP PROF JEGA & INEC POLLING UNIT FRAUD!!!! Nigerian were shocked by INEC chairman, Prof Jegas Proposal to create additional 30,000 new polling units in Nigeria in readiness for the 2015 election. While the exercise is not the problem, the issue is the underlining fraud and reckless disregard to fairness exhibited by Prof Jega and his group in INEC. Allocating 21,615 (72%) of these new polling units to the North is incomprehensible. INEC voters verification last year discovered that about 35% of registered voters in the North are either ghosts or multiple registration and a similar situation in the South. Instead of capturing this exercise by reducing the number of polling units, the reverse is the case. In majority of states in the South of Nigeria, election times are usually extended to give opportunity for the large turnout of voters to cast their votes. In most cases many of these voters are disenfranchised, as INEC officials in their discretion may choose not to extend the election time. These specific areas involved are those that need additional polling unit, not the directionless blanket creation of 30,000 new polling units. This ugly development according to Hope For Nigeria is not about the South or North, but a calculated attempt by INEC to add fictitious 10.8Million votes (every Polling unit has 500 potential registered voters) to the North. A situation that will intentionally make it impossible for any Presidential candidate from the South to defeat his or her Northern counterpart. Playing the scenario of 2011 election where Maj Gen Buhari secured about 12million votes, an additional 10.8Million as envisioned by Prof Jega will automatically erase President Goodluck Jonathans majority votes. In relation to the above, the 25% of the votes polled by President Jonathan in Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Niger, Sokoto and Zamfara states will be wiped out by the dubious attempt by INEC to introduce 10.8million votes through the back door. This is all about fairness, equity and ensuring that the same madness experienced by Nigerians of various divide during the military era did not raise its ugly head again. STOP INEC NOW!!!
