My friend, Jonathan Odell, author or The Healing and A View From Delphi, is releasing his new book, Miss Hazel and the Rosa Parks League on Feb 4, 2015 (Rosa Parks 102nd birthday). I had the honor of being one of the 102 early readers. It is a must read. I have spoken with some of you and already you have gone online and pre-ordered. So then...my favorite characters are both Vida and Hazel. Then again, maybe its Vidas father, Levi, or perhaps Maggie because of her dime story, and without a doubt that sad little boy, Johnny. Unanimously, we will agree on the most hated character. Then again, there may be a toss up between the Sheriff or the Senator or those despicable daughters of his.
