Eduok to quit Nigerian league One of the leading scorers in the just-ended Nigeria league Emem Eduok has revealed he is likely to quit for a club overseas. “I don’t think I will be playing in the Nigeria league next season. I will be seeking greener pastures so as to take my career to the next level,” said Eduok, who finished as second highest scorer in the league with 20 goals. Eduok’s club have already slapped a million US dollars price tag on the left-footed striker. The other highlight of his season was scoring the first goal at the brand-new Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo earlier in November. His lone strike beat Ghana’s U23s to the Transformation Cup. The former Flying Eagles star also scored five goals to finish as the MVP of the 2014 Federation Cup after his club Dolphins fell 2-1 in the final to Enyimba on Sunday. “I was disappointed not to win the cup with Dolphins. It was really disappointing to get to the final and then lose the cup,” lamented the 23-year-old striker.
