Evelyn Brannon of Buttonwillow passed away on Monday, March 24. She was born September 14th, 1941 in Lauratown, Arkansas to Jack and Mary (Kennedy) Headrick. Evelyn was a loving and caring mother of three children, Bobby (Pam) Brannon of Buttonwillow, Pam Brannon (Ray Smith) of Canby, OR, Gary (Stacy) Brannon of Springfield, IL. She had eight grandchildren: Robert Brannon, Matthew Brannon, Heather Brannon, Tylor Brannon, Ethan Brannon, Madison Ingold, Olivia Ingold, Alexis Ingold and a great-granddaughter: Dakkota Brannon. She is also survived by her brother Jackie Headrick of McKittrick. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Sue Burleson and brother Billy Headrick. Evelyn worked for the Truckstops of America in Buttonwillow for over 36 years, where she made lots of friends and everyone knew her as a hard working woman who loved her job. Services will be Friday, March 28 at 1:00pm at Shafter Memorial Park.
